May 5th

This morning we packed our bags and headed north to Kibbutz Sdot Yam. We watched a movie and learned about Channa Senesh, a young Zionist woman who lived during the time of the Holocaust. The kibbutz is on the shore so we went and sat by the beach for a while. It was the most incredibly clear and beautiful water. It had so many shades of a pure blue. Before we left the Kibbutz we played on the playground  Then we went to another beach in Caesarea and walked along the shore. From there we went north to a Druze hosting house where we heard a woman speak about their religion and ate a Druze lunch. After lunch we went to a Druze market and did some shopping . Then we went River rafting on the Jordan River! So much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was actually so much fun! We were all pushed off the raft at least three times lol.

We were hungry so we went to a mall in Chatzor Haglilit and got pizza, falafel, and whatever. Then we drove to our new hotel and got settled in. It has been great so far!
